Yep ~ that's sweet Madi! Just a few days old. She woke up this morning and shouted "I'M THREE"!! Breaks my heart. I made a decision to be happy today. BUT I could go back to bed and cry all.day.long! How could it be three years already.
Miss Madilyn - you bring joy to my every day! Happy Birthday sweet girl. We love you very much.

Birthday Celebrations~
The hot topic around here is the Big Three! She wakes up. Am I 3 today? Poor thing! Just one more day! BUT we started celebrating today (actually weeks ago). We met good friends at the Sonic playground for some sunshine and playtime. The sun was nice, but the wind made is a little chilly. The kidos didn't seem to mind. Us Mama's did!
I didn't get a picture of everyone there and I'm so upset I didn't try for a group picture. Its only an excuse for us all to go back on a prettier day I guess!
Thank you all for coming to help Madilyn celebrate her special day. We are so very thankful to have met each and every one of you in our new little town!

For Nene and Papa~
Came across this pictures while cleaning out/organizing my pictures from 2010. Its amazing how you look over certain pictures, but if you go back through them at a later date they really pull at your heart strings. This one of little miss did that to me. I'm sure I set it aside because my exposure wasn't dead on or I was too busy with school to edit at that time.
When I found this picture I knew my parents would enjoy it. My Mom has recently become a reader of my blog (its taken her this long to get "acquainted" with the internet). It makes it so much easier to find time to blog knowing she's looking for new pictures! She even has my Dad looking - which is amazing!
So, Mom and Dad (Nene and Papa) here is your sweet girl! She misses you so so much and would really like you to come stay the night. She might even talk her Mom into cooking potato soup and cornbread if you would so kindly get in your car and head north! What's that??? OH, yes. She'll make chocolate chip cookies, too!!!

Final Days...
of being two years old that is!!! So close to THREE that you might as well say you're 3 when asked! The weather was just beautiful for pictures so we thought we'd take a few downtown last week...a few more just being "two"! I tear up just thinking of how big she is. THREE?!?! Where did the time go? Wasn't it just yesterday she fit in the palm of my hand?
I have so much to say about her, but it all makes me cry. She is just perfect to me. She makes me laugh. She makes me want to pull my hair out. This is all in the first 15 minutes she's awake!
Finally figured out how to show THREE! Its a good thing because she tells everyone we come in contact with she's going to be 3 and is having a princess party. She has invited the whole town - because she talks to everyone she sees.
My favorite from our "mini session".
Just a few things I don't want to ever forget about her....
She talks non-stop (how could I forget)
She LOVES barbies
She doesn't like chocolate
More mornings than not when she wakes up she says "I miss my Papa so bad"
She talks to her Papa multiple times a day on the phone
She is a planner (and the boss)
She only wants to wear dresses and tights (I had to bribe her to wear jeans for pictures)
Her imagination is out of this world!!!!
She talks about getting married every day
She loves to dance and to tell you how to dance
Happy early Birthday Miss Madilyn Clare!

Braxton and Heart Failure!
These pictures are from a while back - but talk has surfaced about buying a bigger dirt bike so it has me thinking. No, I did not go to this race. And I probably will never go...without being heavily sedated. BUT, Braxton LOVES, LOVES it!
If you drive by our house on any given day you will see a little 50lb boy going way too fast on his dirt bike and jumping whatever is in site. I have to admit he looks so cute in his little riding gear. But dirt bike racing? Should we really encourage this sport??? I say no way! Aaron says - YES!
Please pray for me.

Blogger has changed things up on me...just when I learned how to use the old! Do my pictures look the same? Maybe just a little smaller? Gees...

My Little Blanchard Lion~
Braxton started tackle football this year! Blanchard has been playing for several years now, so he's having to play a little "catch up". He's doing great, but what else is a mother suppose to say. He loves it. I wish he didn't. It just seems so dangerous! Boys will be boys....right?!?!
And Madilyn, well...doing what she does best!!!! Thanks Papa Roger and Gramma Ang for letting her entertain you! :)

New Puppy
This is an example of "rough" lovin'!!!! :) Madilyn loves the new puppy so much, but isn't so gentle. We'll see if she survives. Madi calls her "my sister". So sweet.
Madilyn had her 1st gymnastics class last night. She wasn't sure what to think about it at first, but by the end was loving it. I took my camera, but then realized I didn't have my card in. So, no pictures from her first class. Next week! I couldn't believe how big she looked.
Hope you all have a good weekend. I have a couple of sessions on Saturday, so check back for more pictures!
Timmy - Madilyn will see you tonight!!!!

He's Home....
He made it home! In one piece. Exhausted and stinky. You guys thought I was kidding about the snacking comments - first pictures: lunch room and the canteen! :) You might've also thought I was kidding about the bathing and brushing of teeth! He admitted he did NOT brush his teeth. He came home in the same clothing I sent him in. And in his pictures he's wearing those same clothes????? I am not asking! He said there just wasn't time for taking a good bath or brushing his teeth! ???
This is the ropes course. You climb up the telephone pole and zip line down???? He did it. I still can't believe it. He is so unsure of doing things for the first time. He's very proud of himself for doing it.
Learning to knit! My kind of fun (danger free)!!!!
Note: Same clothing I sent him in!!!!
This is pretty much it! Lots of stories, but no pictures to go along. I'm still happy the camera made it home and hoping to have more pictures from the sponsors. He's so tired I'm not getting much out of him at this point. Other than - HE'S GOING NEXT YEAR! That is a successful camp trip. :) My nerves are settled now that he's home. Time to get some work done!

Did you know your kids grow up?!?!?!
So, Braxton has been at church camp since Friday. He gets back late tonight. I have missed him so much! I'm so excited to hear what he's learned about God (I hope he realized this camp was about his relationship with God and not doing the zip line). About the friendships he made. To see if his camera made it back in one piece...the list goes on. :)
I realize this camp is about him - and not me! But let me tell you what its done for me!!! Its made me realize this sweet little baby boy is not a baby anymore. He's 9! He can go out on his own and survive without Mom. His teeth are probably not brushed and I'm not sure he showered - but he's surviving! I have survived as well - obviously not as well as he has!
Now that I've depressed myself even more, check out this handsome little devil...
He's overdue for pictures. We tried...but were not very successful. Sister came along. She wouldn't stay with us or allow for concentration. We threw up our hats 15 minutes into it and decided we'd try again when she wasn't with us. BUT, a couple are worth sharing.
This one is my favorite. This is HIS look! He's not sad. Not mad. Just thinking. Probably about his dirt bike. Possibly if he can have a snack when we finished. Maybe even about when he can change out of this "church shirt"! :)
I hope to share with you some pictures Braxton took while at camp. With his permission and the safe return of the camera that will happen in a few days!

Bathtime
Well, some of you are sick of seeing Madilyn (Timmy)!!! :) I couldn't resist sharing these pictures of her taking a bath the other night. I was practicing with my flash. Possibly not technically perfect, but there are more things I love about them than not. Pink finger nails, sweet curls on that hair we finally have!
Do you see those eyes? I'm pretty sure she was thinking of how she could throw that hippo at my camera without getting in trouble!
Thank you Timmy for reading my blog! I'm thinking of a special post just featuring you and Aaron!!!!

Madilyn
It's been a while since I've tried to take a few pictures of Madilyn (which is always a chore). Braxton was away visiting Grandparents, so we took off for a little adventure in our new town! Let me just say, she's harder to photograph than ever! :)
We started down on Main Street. She put her hands on her face, counted to 10, then said "Ready or not, here I come"!!! Oh, believe me!!! We stay ready!
Braxton asked how I got her to cross her legs...NO IDEA! She must've been figuring out how to jump from the top of the stairs.
Next we found an old barn. Any of you who know me, know I love old barns (and tall grass). Is this considered trespassing? Probably! I've lived in Blanchard 2 weeks and I've only been ran off once - I think that is pretty good (and that time I asked)!
We grabbed a few more before the sun went down in the back yard. Well worth the fight in my opinion.
I will leave you with one that really shows her personality.
A few things about her while I'm thinking of it...she loves skittles, but spits out the purple ones. She knows all of her colors, can count to ten, would live on BBQ chips and popsicles. She prefers her brother over everyone. She calls her swimsuit a swim soup and her belly button a belly butt. She talks non-stop from the time she wakes up until she passes out. She is exactly how I would've picked her had God given me a choice!
And on another note, Braxton has agreed to have his picture taken. This is a big step! Stay tuned...
